I offer both rifle and archery hunts for coues deer. The rifle hunt dates depend on the unit and the season dates offered. The late December hunt is considered the best chance at a trophy, but many great bucks are harvested during the Oct/Nov hunts as well. All rifle hunts are spot and stalk. I also offer archery deer hunts where the tag can be obtained over the counter vs. applying for the tag. These can be very good hunts if one is patient enough. Archery hunts generally consist of sitting tree stands over water in the early Aug/Sept season and sitting trails/scrapes and spot and stalk. Success and trophy potential can be good, but patience is the key. In my opinion, any way you hunt these animals is a challenge and a lot of fun.
